I have made it like 10 times on each hoop way behind 3 point line but it won't give me the achievement.

Got it in two, after trying to just put it in about ten times - that doesn't work, you have to throw it .

Also make sure it's the actual basketball court. There's a small hoop behind a house, but that's not it.

how do you actually throw something? All I could figure out was picking up, moving around a bit, and dropping.

On PC left click picks up and right click throws.

There is a light pole directly behind one of the hoops. If you aim at the mid point between the top of the backboard and the top of the light pole it should go in.

That is standing right at the 3pt line staring straight at the goal.

Took some getting used to, when the achievement finally popped I celebrated by picking up everything from the court and tossing it into my truck. The balls, bag even the mobile light came back to my farm

Where these items reset, when you entered the game next time, or did you get to keep them?

I saw this YouTube clip with a guy, running a mail box down ... he stopped and put it in the back of his pick-up and drove off ...

I assume they reset, I forgot to check but after nearly rolling the truck and everything flying all over the place it's difficult to say without returning to the court. One of the balls made it into a field it wasn't untll I did a harvesting contract, where I ran it over and it shot across the field again, or I would have never even known it was there
